With transmission electron microscope basic and identical, just voltage is particularly tall. The acceleration that TEM uses voltage is 50 ~ 100kV, and the tension that HVEM uses is 200 ~ 1000kV. Because voltage is tall, can reduce the possibility that creates chromosome distortion greatly, accordingly, can study cellular structure with larger cellular section, the ply of section can amount to 1μm most, be equivalent to 10 times of ply of common TEM sample.
